L.O.V.E

Love, the great jazz singer Billie Holiday sang, "Is like a faucet; it turns off and on." She might have added that it also sometimes gets rusted up, clogged and corroded when badly neglected. Most of us don’t have problem knowing how to fall head over heels, note writing, tattoo-her-name-on-your-chest-before-you-know-how-to-spell-her-last-name stupid-actingly in love. The problem is upkeep.

Love is not a Volvo that runs for hundred thousand miles between tune-ups. Love is a finicky Jaguar, or an ouchy-feisty Italian number (somewhere between Fiat and Ferrari) that gets hot under the hood, demands attention, needs tune-ups and new hard-to-find parts.

It’s hard to know sometimes what your partner wants. The message here is; dig a little deeper, try a little harder. Above all; ask questions. The answers and the payoffs are so worth it.

Anyway... Merry x'mas you guys. Don't present and drive yes. Bahaya!
